Hi, my name is Zachary Schuman and I am a chemical biology graduate student in the Chong Liu research group at UCLA. Born in New Jersey, I received my B.A. in chemistry from Occidental College in 2021. I am interested in the intersections of electrochemistry, nanomaterials, and microbiology for catalysis of biologically- and environmentally-relevant reactions. Outside of lab I enjoy reading, discovering new music artists, and spending time outdoors.
