Hi, my name is Siyi and I obtained my bachelor’s and doctoral degrees from Hong Kong Baptist University. My PhD research focused on using mass spectrometry-based multi-omics techniques to study the metabolic changes in biological species caused by exposure to pollutants. In Chong’s lab, I hope to apply my expertise in MS and multi-omics to study cellular metabolism in biohydrids, and explore my limits. Outside the lab, I enjoy staying active through gym workouts and Pilates. I also love spending time in nature, going hiking and camping.
