Hi, my name’s Sofia and I’m an undergraduate chemical engineering student at UCLA. I joined this lab due to my interest in carbon capture and conversion, but I’m also passionate about innovative forms of renewable energy and hybrid bio-inorganics. Beyond my interests in STEM, I spend my time dancing on Samahang Modern (a competitive UCLA hip-hop based team) or baking unnecessary amounts of cookies. I’m originally from Danville in the Bay Area, so I’m excited to try all the good food down here in LA!
